Our Aims and Objectives
U3A aims to build the interest and motivation of, and fruitfully engage older adults 55 years and over in order for them to see themselves as blocks for empowerment (personal, community and national); to mobilize them to be part of innovative and coordinated networks of building inclusive worlds of empowerment, age with rights and respect for differences.

As an umbrella organization, U3A coordinates activities of its affiliates including planning and offering technical support. Our values are ‘a heightened spirit ofconnectedness, botho and prudent use of resources.

To work in partnership with relevant national and international partners like governments, organizations for the elderly, NGOs, CBOs and others to promote open and fair access to education/learning and other relevant services for third agers.
