Statement at the tenth session of the United Nations Open-ended Working Group on Aging on APRIL 16, 2019

I, David Oludare Mark, along with Kathy Bailey, Himanshu Ruth and Margaret Young represent Pass it On Network, an entity of 2Young2Retire.

We are a global non profit agency. We share knowledge and we support one another’s country to move forward through our collective passion and experiences. We do this sometimes in person but mostly through technology as we embrace the University of Third Age in Lagos Nigeria. One of our key mission is to see our older persons be independent and purposefully engaged till the last breath. We must provide all older persons with access to education, continuous and inter-sectional learning.

We are sad to announce the death of one of our U3A Project Lagos Center pioneering member and facilitator in the person of Prof (DCNS) Winifred O Fashola which occurred on the 28th of Dec. 2018.
