U3A Project Lagos Center - Video clips

At the UN Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing in New York in 2019, David added to the joint statement he delivered at a plenary session on behalf of the Pass It On Network, underlining the vital importance of providing older persons with access to education, continuous and inter-sectional learning.

One of our key missions is to see our older persons be independent and purposefully engaged till the last breath. We must provide all older persons with access to education, continuous and inter-sectional learning.

We do this sometimes in person but mostly through technology as we embrace the University of Third Age in Lagos Nigeria.

AIUTA President, Professor Francois Vellas visit to Nigeria in 2018 changed the narrative of the University of the Third Age (U3A) in Lagos, thereby creating a paradigm shift in the new setup of U3A in Nigeria.

He encouraged Lagos to be a center of age-friendly life long learning, pointing out a strategy for growth and support for the elders in our society.

The visit has since then moved U3A Project Lagos Center to a new level with the assistance of our Oxford webwizard Tom Holloway.

Family Ark Mission is a charity organisation dedicated to helping our older people make the most of later life. Ageing is not an illness, but it can be challenging.

At Family Ark Mission we provide services to inspire, enable, support older people and be their voice in the society.

From computer classes to mobility aids, we offer services to help make your lives easier.
