Location: Bunbury is located 180 kms from our capital city, Perth, and has a multi-cultural population of approx 31,000 from every continent in the world.

Interest Groups: Bunbury U3A Inc, has a low membership at present, but we are aiming for an increase after the threat of Covid-19 has passed. The majority of our members enjoy speakers talking on a wide variety of subjects twice a month, but there are moves to have some short courses presented in 2023. These may include Boutique Wine and Beer appreciation; Art appreciation and Mah Jong groups.

On the right is a photograph of a sculpture we have on one of our foreshores in Bunbury. It is 5 1/2 meters high, made of welded steel and represents a “composite” Indigenous elder who would have been here when Bunbury was first “discovered”, less that 200 years ago. It is called Wardandi Boodja which means Wardandi (our local language group) salt-water country.
