Where are we?

U3A Port Phillip (U3APP)

The City of Port Phillip is an inner urban area in Melbourne Victoria. U3A Port Phillip has its headquarters at the Mary Kehoe Centre in Albert Park, a lovely old Victorian house which has been converted for community use. The U3APP Office and many of our courses are held at the Centre. Some courses are held at other community venues within the City of Port Phillip. A number of courses are held online, using Zoom.

What do we offer?

U3APP offers a large number of continuing courses ranging from Art to Yoga, as well as shorter courses and one-off talks, all free to members for a modest annual membership fee. There are no academic entry requirements.

Seminars are run monthly, presenting diverse topics from experts in their field. The seminars are open to both members and the public.

How do we operate?

Learning and friendship are the hallmarks of U3APP.

It is a not-for-profit organisation, entirely staffed by well over a hundred volunteers. Tutors are also volunteers and give their time for free.

U3APP is strongly supported by the City of Port Phillip.
