| Where we are: We are five U3A-style universities on the south coastal part of Turkey. As a Turkish version of U3A Project, TAZELENME (Refreshing) University is a Social Responsibility Project developed firstly by Prof.Dr. Ismail Tufan - Head of Geriatry Dept. Akdeniz University Medical Faculty - Antalya. |
| Membership:
Under the leadership of Prog Dr. Ismail Tufan, first TAZELENME campus
started in 2016 under the coverage of Akdeniz University-Antalya with
a number of 350 students. And this gathered a lot of attention.
Prof Dr. Muammer Tuna-Head of Sociology Dept. of Sitki Koçman University-Mugla- was in the Project from the beginning and established the Tazelenme Campus in Mugla in 2017 with 150 students. Under the leadership of Prof Muammer Tuna, another 4 campuses (Fethiye-Milas-Köycegiz-Bodrum) were established around the neigborhood of Mugla province reporting to himself. As of today a total of 700 students exist in all these 5 campuses. |
