Our U3A meets on the third Friday of each month (no meeting in Aug)
at the Weymouth Salvation Army hall. 10AM to Noon. Coffee, tea and biscuits
are served.
There some 200+ members. Groups consist of Walking, Exploring literature,
Bridge for Improvers, Badminton, Chaps Chat & Cooking, Classical
Music Appreciation, Computing for Beginners and Self Help Club, Creative
Writing, Digital Photography, Family History, History, French Conversation,
Gardening Club, German for Beginners, Golf for Pleasure, Italian, Mah
Jong, Painting for Pleasure, Scrabble for Fun, Singing, Solo Whist,
Sunday Lunch Club, Table Tennis, , Theatre/Outings, Watercolor Painting.
Groups meet in members homes, community halls, church halls, Weymouth
library, golf club and Group heads/leaders also have meetings together.
Monthly meetings have general business, announcements and guest speakers
on a wide variety of topics/subjects. Newsletters are prepared and issued
