Membership and activity groups: Woking Area U3A has around 1,500 members; we are in our 24th year and growing at a rate of about 5% per annum.

We have about 100 Groups covering numerous subjects including Archaeology, Art, Astronomy, Military History, Ballet Appreciation, Bride, Latin, French, Greek, Italian, German, Computing, Current Affairs, Science & Technology, Inventions, Photography, Genealogy, Golf, Jazz Appreciation, Poetry, Upholstery etc., etc., far too many to list here.

On the right you can see the Archaeology Group getting some practical experience.

Comment: In common with many other U3As, we have quite a large number of waiting lists and one of the problems we face is attracting new Group Leaders to overcome that situation. We also find it quite difficult recruiting new Trustees.
