Interest Groups

Here’s a taste of what we do….
The decision about what to do is made by the members for the members. Some of us play games, or we go out for coffee*, picnic* or go on occasional outings*.

You can join as many interest groups as you wish as vacancies arise. Some group leaders ask for 50p or £1, per session, to cover refreshments and expenses (e.g. biscuits, photocopying, library reservation fees). Groups meet in members homes, Salisbury Library or hired premises. Most meet monthly but may pause during holiday periods.

Joining in is made easier when you’re surrounded by others who have similar interests to you and new groups can be formed according to interest.

For news of emerging groups and more information on all interest groups please see the Newsletter, and if you would like to start a new group please speak to the Group Co-ordinator.
