 Congratulations
to this fast-growing and energetic group and their new English/Kazakh/Cyrillic
website. Under the leadership of Gulbarshin Kassimanova - third from
right in our banner above - all members are encouraged to go into Primary/Kindergartens
to help celebrate the Nauryz (Persian New Year) festival. The group are
also working to help the official transition to the 'Latin' script . They
ask for help from any Russian-speaking groups willing to exchange through
ZOOM or SKYPE. |

The Poetry Archive is a not-for-profit organisation that makes and acquires recordings of poets from around the English-speaking world and makes substantial excerpts from them freely available online. They are funded by Arts Council England, as well as a number of charitable trusts and foundations, philanthropic individuals and generous supporters. |

| A report on Long Term Care of Elderly prepared by Help Age India was released on 18-03-2019 by Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Mathew Cherian, J.R.Gupta, Chairperson, Confederation, Dr.A.B Dey, Kiran Karnik, Manmohan Sharma, Prof. Sivaraju, and Ms.Caitlin Littleton. On this occasion, Hari Baskaran,(70), was welcomed and felicitated as he covered 3000 km distance from Chennai to Delhi on cycle in 57 days. | |

| POLAND - Learn with Grandma | |

Anna Grabowska reports from Gdansk: This is one example project realised
under LwG - Gdansk. It is a voluntary based translation of a book about
teaching Children Protective Behaviours - "Koala
and Bunny" Currently there are more than 44 Learn with Grandma groups around the world helping to empower elders & young people by encouraging intergenerational learning; using the internet as a bridge to help break down the digital age gap by sharing skills; love & knowledge across the generations. | AIUTA - United Nations | |
 Prof
Francois Vellas, AIUTA President participated in a United Nations meeting
with Antipas Touatam and Pierre Encontre at UNCTAD (UN Conference on Trade
and Development) headquarters in Geneva on March 27th on next AIUTA 2019
events. A working group will be set up with United Nations organisation
on International Elderly Challenges. Antipas Touatam Guendergue will give
a presentation to next WSTC Yantai international Conference as representative
of UNCTAD. |
