Lead Child Project

The Lead Child Project focuses on Child education. Pass it on Trust Uganda fundraises school fees and other necessary scholastic items from friends and partners that go into encouraging the most needy of the children who are mostly single mother raised, to stay in school and keep away from early marriage.

Books, pens, crayons, crafts materials have been offered by our partners from Scotland towards this project.

Pass IT On Trust Uganda works with two primary schools in central and eastern Uganda; Good Hope Nursery and Primary School in Wakiso and Shammah Nursery and primary school in Soroti district with a total of 300 children. Most of these children are needy children who are orphans, raised by single mothers, grandparents who depend on agriculture as their source of income to raise funds to keep them in school

In these two schools Pass It On Trust Uganda coordinates a Lead Child Project which aims at promoting EDUCATION among young girls and boys aged 5 to 20 years to act as tool to of change in the fight against early and forced child marriages as the first step to get them inspired to keep in school and achieve their dreams.

The project fundraises School fees through individual support as well as sale of craft materials that are produced by the organization to help these children keep in school and out of early and forced child marriages which is caused as a result of poverty

The project also fundraises scholastic materials and school supplies to help facilitate the education process of these children by making it exciting and motivate them to stay in school.

Reach out to us if you would like to donate some scholastic items or sponsor a child to stay in school and out of early marriage.
