AIMS: The University of the Third Age is a voluntary group of scholars where there is no distinction between those who teach and those who learn, where as much as possible of the activity is voluntary, freely offered by the members of the university to other members and to other people.

Learning is pursued, skills acquired, interests developed for themselves alone with no reference to awards, qualifications, or personal advancement.

We are eager to partner and collaborate with the international U3A community, such as U3A Communities, especially on exchange programmes and other activities that will enrich and foster sound relationships not only in Zimbabwe but across the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
